Mitzvah means the correction of one of the 613 spiritual desires that have become egoistic and it does not focus on ritual performances of do`s and don`ts.This is a spiritual process led by Torah rather than a mechanical process of obedience perfomed by man.

Torah means Light. Light is that which is leading us home.

The Light Reveals the Evil Inclination and the desire to rise above it is born in you. Evil inclination = ego.  EGO is bloody obvious in the Light. Watch it! Rise above the fear of seeing your own true nature. But this is not like a psychological counselling session with yourself - this is spirit watching matter.  You are both. Deal with it. Know Thyself!

The Light nurtures the desire to grow in the knowledge of the fullness of God and to rise above the animal level of existence.

The Light Reveals the Evil Inclination again and again according to each Reshimot that surfaces. 613 of them.  Only then will I truly do what is called "prayer", ie. When I am totally convinced that I cannot allow that part of me to control me and I also realize that that Light can direct my steps only when my steps are for the sake of the Light and willingly desire to being in sync with it.

God, the Light and the Torah are One.

There is None Else Besides That. Yet currently you exist in opposition to That.  But because there is None Else Besides Him, being created as an Image rather than a Likeness was His Intention.  How else could we recognize the Light.  How else is the desire to be like Him created? Yep, I can see He knows what He is doing which means I can allow the yoke willingly and consciously, thus making the burden as light as Light.

God is in control - Like it or Not. Let there Be Light among all the peoples of the earth so that we all can be co-creators for Her sake.
