Apple is selling almost 1,000 iPhone 4Ss/minute, setting it up to be the fastest selling gadget ever | 9to5Mac | Apple Intelligence

Apple is selling 1000 phones / minute or 16 phones per second.    The current product record for consumer product sales is held by Microsoft Kinects.  Microsoft sold 8 million Kinects in the first 60 days, a number Apple could theoretically pass in the first two weeks.

Pretty amazing for a product that was considered a disappointment when launched (it was not the expected iPhone 5).
