On August 22, 2011, RIM will be rolling out a brand new Blackberry App World.

This is one of RIM’s steps towards remaking the Blackberry. The company’s marketing efforts have done little to promote the handset’s changes.

I will reserve judgment on the changes until they are out.

If this change and the company’s music service fail to take off and excite consumers enough to stop the customer erosion, we will be looking at a RIM looking for help or an acquirer.
