So where is the best home for webOS - LG, HTC, Samsung, other? HP bought the webOS (palm) environment a little more than a year ago for $1.2 Billion. It's interesting that they are yielding to Google and Apple so quickly. So, are we down to a 2 horse race for domination of the mobile handset space or is Microsoft still a contender?
I would say "so long, goodbye" webOS. Truthfully, I need to think about it.
$1.2 Billion dollar write-off if they don't find a buyer for webOS - WOW! that's a big write-off.
