Facetime: ~ 10 million have set it up, less than 1 million active users
Skype: Nearly 600 million accounts, ~ 150 active users.
Facetime is primarily video calling, while skype does video it user base is mostly VoIP and is a good land-line replacement. You can install skype apps on your Android or iPhone, but it's not fully integrated. The rumor is that Microsoft will have a more fully integrated solution.
