Calendar - Recurrance
1. OK, I've tried my best. I have tried to set up recurring events on the calendar. I set up two, back to back times on every first Tuesday of the month. That worked. I tried to place another one on last sunday of month. I may get one month recurring. However, most of them are on a Sunday, but usually early in the month. Some months are missed.

2. I want to set up a tab with a calendar as the only tablet. Greg sent me a note that I need to go full page to see items listed. This works. However, when I come back to this tab later, tablet has minimzied, which I prefer not ot happen. Any comments?

3. When adding a calendar event, what is the purpose of the check mark which results in a + or - on the 30 day full page view. I know it has to do with attendance but does it matter if it is checked or not?

Thanks, Frank

1) We will look in to this to see if we can repeat the bug and get back to you ASAP

2) Current functionality is that when you leave a tab it goes back to the Tablet state (closes full screen mode). We will add your request to leave the calendar in full page mode on to our feature wish list for TabUp.

3) The purpose of the + / - on each of the calendars is to accept it to your private calendar. So, as each member of you tab accepts the event (+) they can see what events they have put in their private calendar vs. the shared tab calendar.

If you click on the tab event details you will see a tab that will show you a list of attendees for this event. Once your users get used to this feature it's a way to get a count on how many members are attending one of your events.

hope this helps ... Sam

Sam: Thanks for the response. Regarding 3, and just for you to consider, my imtended use of the event calendar is not to have anyone respond at all, just a posting of "what's coming up". Could an "off" switch be included on the event set up page which allows for the ignoring of a + or -?

I knew when I first wrote I had a 4. When setting up an event time, is there an entry that can be placed in the event "end" box which leaves the time open ended. Considering what I say above, many of the postings don't have end times, the event just ends when it does.

This is a minor thing, but something to be considered.

Thanks, Frank

Frank ... never considered an open ended event. We have an "all day" event which is an event with no time, but add it to our list. We will also think about the ability to turn on / off the attend switch.

thanks for the feedback ...
